I have this equation:

=TEXT(SUM(LEFT(A1:A3,FIND(" ",A1:A3)-1)+0),"0.00")&" in"

(CTRL + Shift + Enter)

Is there a way to create a UDF for this using VBA or create a button on the Excel Toolbar that will perform this function.

Thanks

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

Would a normal (non-array) formula suit you?

=TEXT(SUMPRODUCT(LEFT(A1:A3,FIND(" ",A1:A3)-1)+0),"0.00")&" in"
