Unable to display value

I am copying data from a .CSV download of a database file. One of the cells is the .CSV file can either contain a percentage complete or a date. I want to reference this cell to build a percent complete bar and display the value. For this, there are ten columns, each referencing the cell from the CSV file. For the first 4 and last 5 columns, there is a custom format of ;;; so that the referenced value does not display. For the fifth column, the General format is used. However, the value does not display. How can the cell be displayed?

The cell in each of the columns contains a formula (=$N$1, which is the cell containing the value from the .CSV file). So, the cell in the fifth column (E) contains the formula.

Assuming you have confirmed a value exists in N1, is it possible that the font color in the fifth column cell matches the fill color of the cell (no fill is equivalent to white for this instance)?

Thanks for the suggestion, Joe. That wasn't it, but I was able to figure it out.
