Am running Excel 2003 on Windows 10
When I tried to open XL2BB I get a message that it is "not in a recognizable format"
Until recently I used Excel Jeanie (EJHMl4_EN) to copy Data for posting on Mr Excel but after updating to Win 10 it did not work.

Not sure if the update caused problem , and whether having the Excel Jeanie Add on installed has created current problem with XL2BB and wonder if anyone else is having this problem.

On another matter have been unable to update version from 2003 and would like to know if it is possible to Uninstall permanently the Excel Jeanie add on.
By doing so this might solve both my problems

XL2BB is a *.xlam format file. That is Excel 2007+ format so I think that will be your problem. Excel 2003 is (obviously) about 16 years old and is no longer supported by Microsoft so I'm assuming the developers of XL2BB felt no need to make it that far backwards compatible.

Windows 10 by itself is not a reason for Excel jeanie to fail as that has been a very common operating environment for users of Excel jeanie. In any case the new forum will not accept HTML code created by Excel jeanie or the other HTML Makers that were available on the old forum.

if it is possible to Uninstall permanently the Excel Jeanie add on
Uninstalling should be easy enough.
Tools-Add-Ins - remove the tick from the Excel jeanie Add-In then OK
Locate the EJHTML4_En.xla file in Windows File Explorer and delete it.
Done

Thanks for that.
Have deleted Add in and will try again to update version from 2003
Thanks again
