Does anybody have any idea's

I have a reasonably large xls in Excel 97 (SR2) It has quite a lot of conditional formatting in it.

At a certian point it will not open after a save.

I can (and have) have the sheet working and saving/ opening fine. then with the addition of one more conditional format it fails to open next time I try?

The file is about 7Mb?

Has anybody had this before or know why this happens?

any help would be appricated

Regards

UK Pete
