I am working on a terminal server through a VPN today. There was a sudden power spike yesterday evening which caused the terminal server to shut down unexpectedly.
When I try to save any files in Excel 2010 today I get the following message:
You are attempting to open a file (excel 1997-2003 add-inFiles) that has been blocked by your File Block Settings in the Trust Centre.
I have ticked the Open and Save boxes beside all of the Excel 1997 and upwards in the File Block Settings menu. I have also ticked the Open files in Protected view and allowing editing button. Anytime I try to save an excel file today I get the message above.
Should I try restarting the server to solve the problem or am I missing out some vital (or obvious step)? All suggestions welcome.
