Hi All
I am desperate looking for help. Recently, I have not been able to see the rows or cells I have hightlighted on my excell spreadsheet unless I use print preview or print the document.

I am required to present the CEO with the document each week with closed items "grayed" out and I am not sure what row are or not grayed out unless I look at the spreadsheet in another view etc.

PLEAAAASE any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Do you mean when you select a range of cells the values go missing?

Did you Color the Font and/or Background of the cells?

Did you hide Row/Columns?

Not sure about what conditions you have setup, so it is hard to help.
Try changing all the Font Colors to Automatic [In a Copy of your Workbook] then do the same with the Background [hint select the blank square in the upper Left, between the Column letters and the Row numbers to select the whole sheet at once!]

Excel Toolbar: Format - Row/Column - UnHide

Excel ToolBar: Tools - Options - View[Tab], select: Gridlines and any thing else you think you need.

There are others, but I need more information.

Additional Information- Fill color and font color not viewab

Joe
Here is a better description.

I will attempt to change the font color of a cell red (or ANY color) and it will print red and I can see the red on the print review but when I look at the spreedsheet I only see black

Additionally if I choose the fill color ( ANY ) I see the color choice on the printed version but I do not see any color on my spreedsheet.

Basically, the colors - fill and font are there but I do not see any color in normal view.

Suggestions.

I tried your suggestions and several others

This is a new one for me, did you play with the Windows Accessibility featurs, it has a display option to display colors in high contrast and/or Black and White. Or, has someone else changed that PC's settings?

Try opening your file on another PC, to see if it displays corectly?

Try building a test application on another PC and then on yours and exchange the files to see if it is the PC or the Application.
