Underscore in textbox

Is ther a way of turning off the underscore that appears in a textbox as soon as text is entered into it?

A text box on a userform? Do you mean the cursor?

I have a user form with a couple of textbox's on it and when I start to enter text in either of them, an underscore across the whole textbox appears.

It's not something I have seen before so I don't know why or how it appears.

I was hoping someone else would have some experience of this?

Just a shot. Increase the height of the textbox.

Does it appear when you click in it, or only when you start typing? If the latter, is there Change event code?

Ah, no, sorry I understand what you mean although I've never experienced it. Even if the textbox was set to underline, it would only underline the characters you actually type in, not the entire box.

Does it do that with a newly-created textbox? On a newly-created form? Wherever it's placed on the form? On someone else's machine?

Does it vanish when you hit Enter?

I'm trying to narrow down the behaviour...
