Hello,

I have a spreadsheet I export from our Telephony Company. The problem is I can not enable the time column (column B below) to be editable so that I can run a formula to segment time spans together. Please let me know if you are to get this column into a workable format. The format dropdown samples do not change when selected.

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi,

They might be stored as character strings and just look like times.

Try using, for example:
=TIMEVALUE(B1)
in another column to see if Excel can convert it to a real Excel time.
