unhiding cells

i have a spreadsheet in which some cells are hidden and appeared to be locked that way. when i highlight and rightclick, the unhide option is disabled. is there anyway to overide this?

Under Tools>Protection....

the spreadsheet is password protected

if it's your sheet, or inherited (like a lot of mine), go to www.straxx.com for a password remover add-in. as long as you have permission if it's not yours.

this remover does not appear to work onexcel xp. do you know of one that does.
