Hello,

I have a full list of 5 digit numbers in Column B and an incomplete list of 5 digit numbers in Column A. How can I have a unique list in Column C?

These will be the missing 5 digit numbers.

Can this be done with formulas?

Thank you very much for your help.

are you able to use PowerQuery (Get&Transform)?

if so...

Code:
[SIZE=1]// Table1
let
    Source = Table.ToColumns(Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Table1"]}[Content]),
    ToTable = Table.FromList(Source, Splitter.SplitByNothing(), null, null, ExtraValues.Error),
    Expand = Table.ExpandListColumn(ToTable, "Column1"),
    RemDup = Table.Distinct(Expand),
    Filter = Table.SelectRows(RemDup, each ([Column1] <> null))
in
    Filter[/SIZE]

In column C you need missing numbers of column A.

Yes I just need the unique numbers. There are many matches between columns A and B I just need the ones that don't have a match.

Thank you

Hi,
This is my first post so hopefully I've done this right...

To only show values from Col A that don't appear in Col B, type the following into Cell C1...

=IF(COUNTIF(B:B,A1)=0,A1,"")

...and copy down to the end of column C.

I hope this helps.
