unique names in column from other column

I have a column (N) of names that have duplicat entries.

How can I creat a new column (M) with only the unique names?

bill sam
dan

Hi,

There are many ways.

One good way is using advanced filter, select - "Copy to other location", List range: select the range where yo data lies, "Copy to: Select N1 in your case, select unique records only..Click on "OK".

You can see the unique records in Column N.
