I created a debtors reporting system at work to be used by several users across the company (probably about 30 people) and saved it on the shared work network. I locked each sheet individually and left certain cells unlocked with data validation set up for those cells. The purpose of setting it up in this way so that each user only has 'view' access on the report and can change the unlocked cells to view their name/branch/clusters reports.
Unfortunately, someone has gone and inserted a password to lock the workbook. No one knows who did this and months of work building this reporting structure now seems wasted as I can not access any of the hidden tabs where the detailed workings are done. I have effectively lost access to my own workings.
Is there any VBA code that can be used to unlock the workbook? I am using Excel 2007.
