Hi
I'm trying to add to a template which was sent to me. In the current if statement, the original programmer used the following terms "uno, tresnegder, dosneg, etc". I take it it dosneg, is -2, uno 1, however, I don't know exactly what tresnegder is? Also, why would the person of used these terms instead of the actual numbers? Could someone let me know what the difference is.
Thanks

hi
this is a bit unclear to me, but you should check Insert->Names->Define and see if the names occur here.
If they do they might not be constants, but could also be formulas, used in your worksheet.
If they are names referring to eg. 1 and -2 they are probably put there for easy change of values. You just change the value there and it changes the values for the names in the whole workbook.
