Hi
I'm trying to add to a template which was sent to me. In the current if statement, the original programmer used the following terms "uno, tresnegder, dosneg, etc". I take it it dosneg, is -2, uno 1, however, I don't know exactly what tresnegder is? Also, why would the person of used these terms instead of the actual numbers? Could someone let me know what the difference is.
Thanks

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
I'll take a SWAG at it.... tres usually means 3.

Is it possible the previous person is using defined names with constant values? Click on the NAME box and see if those names are there.

If you're talking about VBA, then look for Constants around there, that's a common practice, to use "named" constants instead of the actual number.
