I have a pivot table and in the same worksheet numerous tabs that have formulas calculated against this pivot table.

For whatever reason I'd like to keep the data as is - same rows and column references but have it not in the pivot table. Is there a way to do this?

thanks
Paul

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Sounds like you just want to Copy and Paste Special - Values over the top of the table.

Thanks for Feedback Rory. Yup, tried that already but wont let me. I get a message saying I cannot move or add data to PT, which is annoying because I'm not trying to move it just paste right over it so as to keep the cell references.

I would just move the entire table and paste where I want the data to go but then excel will move the cell references.

You need to copy and paste over the entire table including any report field area.
