I am making a spreadsheet that has background colors and borders with macros that rearrange the cells. For some reason, it started smearing blue text vertically down column 1 that says something about "Extern" and then some more jumbled text all on top of each other. What is this, and how can I get rid of it?

I have tried clearing all formatting; but then, when I run my macro again, it shows back up. I have no idea what is going on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
mvptomlinson, I appreciate your suggestion. But the file does not belong to me; so, I do not have liberty to post it here. I ended up clearing out the contents of that sheet and copying data from an older version of the sheet that I had saved. I think this has fixed the problem.
