Hello

Although this is MrExcel I know that the quality of info I get here is 100% better than other forums so I am asking this obscure question.

I have a Word 2003 document with a table of contents. When I update the entire table, Word removes Page Breaks, Next Page breaks and spaces between the last entry in the Table Of Contents and the first paragraph.

Is there any way to prevent this happening?

Thanks a lot

P

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
That suggests your breaks are actually within the TOC field. To ensure they're outside it, turn Word's 'field shading' on and/or press Alt-F9 to toggle the field code display so you can ensure your breaks are inserted after the field.
