Good Morning,
Maybe you all can help. I am pretty sure that this can be done but can not figure out the formula to work.
I have a excel sheet that has multiple sheets in it that is linked to the overall main sheet. have it where it is linked as to when data is inputted on one sheet it updates that data on the main sheet. I know how to link the cells between sheets but having problem linking multiple cells in one sheet to one cell in another sheet so when new data is inputted in one cell it updates the data in another cell on another sheet.
example:
Sheet 1 cell name:
cell %
Sheet 2 cell names
PP1
PP2
PP3
PP4
etc.
Each cell on sheet 2 is based on pay periods (PP1 Cell is pay period 1, PP2 is pay period 2 and so on). So when PP1 is entered, Cell % on sheet 1 is updated. The Next week when PP2 is updated, Cell % is updated based on PP2 entry. I do not want it to add it to the Cell # on sheet 1,m but overrided that data.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.
