Update query

All I want is to make one field equal another field in the same table.

So I have a field called: Field1
and I want Field2 to have all the same data that Field1 has, how do you write that query?

In your query, simply add only the new field you want to update (Field2). Then change the query to an Update Query. In the "Update To" line, enter [Field1]. Then run.
