I added/removed rows from from excel table, so now the table has some dark blue rows together, some light, instead of light, dark, light, dark, etc.

How can I update the table back to the light, dark, light, dark rows? I tried removing formats, but that takes away my date formats, etc.

Thanks
Juanita

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Use conditional formatting:-

1) Use formula to determine which cells to fomat
=mod(row(),2)=1
shade light blue

2) Use formula to determine which cells to fomat
=mod(row(),2)=0
shade dark blue

Then you can add or delete rows and Excel will always ensure the correct ones are shaded.

You can use the same technique to shade: pairs of rows; blocks of three, four or any other number; two on, three off; six on, four off, etc.

Thanks, for some reason I thought there was a "auto" update like there is for MS Word Styles.

Thanks again,
Juanita
