Hi gurus, I have 2 sheets :

1. Source (Columns : Number, Tasks)
2. Target (Columns : Number, Tasks, % Completed)

Target sheet takes data from Source sheet from column A and B. In the Target sheet, I will update the 3rd column(% Completed) manually.
Issue is : when a new row in inserted in the middle of Source sheet, the new row will be reflected in Target sheet (this is what I want). However, the data in 3rd column (% Completed) is no longer on the correct row.

Please guide me how can I fix this. Thank you in advance.

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
It can be hard to visualize what you are talking about without seeing some sample data on your two sheets. Can you post an example (first removing/dummying up any sensitive data), along with your expected results?

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
