I have a two worksheet (lets say A & B) workbook. Fixed information in in Worksheet A is used to populate information in Worksheet B. Everything is working fine. I have some fields that are being edited in worksheet B that I would like to populate fields in worksheet A. A is actually a summary of a large test and B are the results of the test. This really doesn't impact the problem. Anyway, when I try to enter the reference in A to the appropriate cell in B, I receive what looks like a file save as screen with an message that says Update Values: B. I don't know what is happening. Thank you for your help.

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Possibly it is asking for updation of external links.
Please see how to control this in the Excel Help - search for 'Control when links are updated '
