Greetings

I have a master inventory file that is linked to over 100 school files. The files are identical in structure except for the names of the school files.

Everything updates fine except when I insert a row in the master inventory file.

When I insert a row in the master inventory file the school files cell references are off by as many rows that were inserted. New information does not display in the school files.

It does not seem to matter if the files are open or closed or any sequence of saving to make the update work.

I am novice with VBA but saw some answers in previous posts about copying the updated file to school files but I would think there are other solutions to what should be simple.
Any thoughts?

Thank you
