Hello,

Im fairly new to Excel and I need some help. I need to set up a simple inventory database that keeps track of my stock. I will have a few columns with the name of the product and the current stock. That's simple. Want I want to do next is to have a box in the top right corner of the sheet where I can chose my product from a drop down list and type how much has been taken out of the stock and then get the database to update the balance. Any help would be highly appreciated!!

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December
I think you need to describe how you think this stock inventory database is going to operate, in detail, and then describe how this "stock taken" process is supposed to take place.
