Hi all wondering if someone could help.

I would like to update a master record depending on the information stored within a set location, the folder will contain many files of varying names, all of which though when opened will contain the same data.

One piece of information will be a managers name, that should coincide with the name on the master document where the information should be entered.

so basically id like to run a macro to:

-> Click update,
-> opens all files within "data folder"
-> find all scores for manager name "X"
-> record scores from set locations within data files
-> update a average of all scores found for manager X on main document

not sure on to what level all can help but if someone has ideas or has done similar could let me know, would be appreciated!

Thanks all, :coffee:
