Updating and External Data Range

Hi All,

I'm looking for some help regarding refreshing an External Data Range.

Firstly, I'm using Excel 2002 (yes, it really is that old!).

I have exported a business report to excel. I have then imported this to another excel sheet with extra formulas that give me the results I want (these are in columns adjacent to the data range).

There's approx 15 columns in the data range and 8000 rows of data. When I right click on the data range and select refresh, the only thing that loads is the first row of data in full, but then only the the field names for the other columns - no other data is included in the rows for these.

Does anyone have any idea why the initial import worked fine and pulled the data through, but the refresh isn't working like this?

I think I can work around this by setting up a template to save the BO report directly into, but I must admit that this error is really bugging me so I'd like to know what's happening here!

cheers
