Thanks in advance for anyone that can help, this is driving me crazy.

I have people entering data each day into a spreadsheet. I want to create a chart from the that shows the running daily data, weekly average (starting Monday, point shown on Monday, average of that Monday to Sunday), and monthly data (starting 1st of each month, point shown on 1st of each month, average of 1st through end of the month). I am not looking for a moving average chart.

I figured it out for the weekly part because obviously there are always 7 days in a week. However, since months can have 28, 29, 30, or 31 days, I'm not sure how to tell exel how to average the data only in that month and show the average and have it update as more data is added for that month.

I've created an example spreadsheet and attached it because (at least to me) its difficult to explaing. When you see the dataset you can understand how creating a chart that updates would be easy. Maybe also take a look at the formula I used for weekly to understand my thought process. (need something I can just copy down).

Update: Can't seem to figure out how to add my attached file to this post.
