Hi

I have a excel CSV file which is auto generated to the same file on the company server every day.

I have an excel workbook which contains a table of the exact information that is in the CSV file

This table (will) contain Pivot information which will drive a dashboard (including some lookup formulas tagged onto the end which relate to a different workbook)

My question is - can I get the workbook to update with the information from the CSV file automatically or with a simple refresh prompt.

Thank you in anticipation

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
You can use CSV query and put it in Pivot table source sheet.

Go to:

Data (tab) > New Query > From file > From CSV

Once you do that you can even set it to refresh upon file open.

You can try with PowerQuery and set refresh option as you wish or simply use Ctrl+Alt+F5
