I'd like to make it so that a running total on my spreadsheet will update itself even when it encounters unexpected data:

(Goal is to add 5 on to each number in the flow)

$A$1 = 5 (constant but changeable)

15 ($A$2)
20
25
30
35
40
45
XXXXX (garbage data)
YYYYY (more garbage)
50
55
ZZZZ (even more garbage)
60
65

How do I make this counter from A2-A15 continue counting by my constant even when it encounters garbage in the row above it (or multiple rows above it)?

Thanks

jamie
