How do I add to this formula if w345 is also greater than 15:
=AND(ISNUMBER(W345),W346="x")

How do I count the number of times the value is greater than 16 in the range w4:w1003?

=COUNTIF(W4:W1003,">16")

By the way, it is usually best to start a new thread when you have a brand new question.

jm, thanks for the formula and suggestions, however, the formula is giving me a higher result, because it is counting the values in the formula within each cell in the range, rather than just the actual value results that have a value greater than 16

I do not understand what you are asking. Could you please post an example?
