Hi,

All users on my workplace network have different versions of Excel and VBA. Obviously this causes some compatability issues when coding with a higher version of VBA and running on a lower.

Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade VBA without upgrading excel for free?

Cheers

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

Even if it were possible, it wouldn't solve your problems. Generally new properties, methods and arguments are added to Excel's Object Library when Excel's underlying functionality changes.

What compatibility issues are you having?
