I'm having problems with CSV files. I save the sheet as a CSV file but when I try to upload it on to the website I get this message.

"Please choose a valid CSV file. The file must use ";" or "," separators."

The site in Investing.com and they only take CSV files. I'm using Excel 2013. Has anyone experienced for this or can anyone give advice. I've been through Youtube videos to make sure I'm saving as CSV file properly.

Excel Facts

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.

Are you choosing the correct CSV option in the Save As dialog in Excel?

Yes I think so. CSV (Comma delimited).

In excel, when saving a message pops up. "Saving a CSV some features might be lost, do you still want to".

Sounds fine. Are there formulae in the file? If so, have you tried copying the sheet to a new file as values and saving that to .csv? Does it make a difference?

What does that have to do with saving a .csv file from Excel? It is about READING a .csv file in Excel.
