Hi

I an cuyrrently running a spread sheet that has a whole host of produst codes and product information.

I need to set up another sheet in the same workbook that looks at that sheet and pull fromm it thre separate codes and their associated prosuct info.

The three codes that i need returned begin with (ie first three letters) go! or AOK or NEV.

The sheet containing all the info is called Master Data, the info being in columns A to L with the product ode in column E if that helps.

Could anyone tell me how Ii would go about returning this info and give me an example of the formula Ii could use?

Many Thanks in advance

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
You are not supposed to write "Urgent" in the thread title.

You might want to use something like this "=LEFT(Sheet1!A1,3)"

Thanks for your help guys
I have managed to sort this problem using a pivot table as it gives the totals needed and can be drilled down in to if needed.
