Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.

VBA Code:
Sub CreateHyperLinks()
    Dim sh As Worksheet
    Dim rng As Range, c As Range
    Set sh = ActiveSheet
    With sh
        Set rng = .Range("A1:A" & .Cells(.Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row)
        For Each c In rng.Cells
            .Hyperlinks.Add Anchor:=c, Address:=c.Value, TextToDisplay:=c.Value
        Next
    End With
End Sub
