Use a variable as the search criteria

When using the following code in a macro

Cells.Find(What:="ashdown", After:=ActiveCell, LookIn:=xlFormulas2, _
LookAt:=xlPart, SearchOrder:=xlByRows, SearchDirection:=xlNext, _
MatchCase:=False, SearchFormat:=False).Activate

Is it possible to replace What:="ashdown" with a variable from the macro, ie ashdown = variable

   FindMe = "Ashdown"
   Cells.Find(FindMe, , , xlPart, xlByRows, xlNext, False, , False).Activate
End Sub
