I would like to have a "master" page which houses macros that need to perform a function on a different worksheet in the same workbook.
Example:
Macro button "A" (on worksheet 1) will sort cells A1:C99 in descending order by the value in column C and also sort cells E1:G99 in descending order by the value in column G on worksheet 2.

I'm just not sure how to do it -- can anyone help?

I have Excel 2010 and am just a stay at home mom-- no training in Excel.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
That was the first thing I tried, and everytime I click the button to run the macro, it performs the task on the worksheet that the macro is on......I need the macro to be on worksheet "A" while the action is being performed on worksheet"B"
