Hi,

I need a macro function to allow a user to select a column by using the mouse in an existing worksheet and return the selected column.

Any suggestions ?

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Hi Anil,

-Right click on Sheet's Tab and View Code
-Select Worksheet object in module view
-Select SelectionChange event.
-Write this code in it

If Target.Rows.Count = 65536 Then MsgBox Target.Column

It should seems like this:

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Rows.Count = 65536 Then MsgBox Target.Column
End Sub

Regards
Suat
