User of Saved Doc in VB

I need to get the user name (creator of document) of off all of the excel files in a certain directory. Anyone have any code for that. Thanks

The code to retrieve the "Author" is[

Range("$A$1") = ThisWorkbook.BuiltinDocumentProperties("Author")

or perhaps

MsgBox ("Created on " & ThisWorkbook.BuiltinDocumentProperties("Creation Date") & " by " & ThisWorkbook.BuiltinDocumentProperties("Author"))
