Hi.

When I right click the Contols toolbox to find a new control and add it to my userform, the controls list doesn't come up !

Yesterday, I accidently removed the standard TextBox control from the ToolBox and now I can't recover it because the controls list doesn't work as mentioned above.

Is there a way around this without having to reinstall Office ?

Using office 2007.

Edited : Note that I don't have this problem when adding activex controls to worksheets just to UserForms.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
No luck yet.

I've run Detect/Repair Office diagnostics but when I right click the More controls on the UserForm ToolBox no list comes up.

I've recovered the accidentally deleted TextBox Control by opening an old workbook and copying the TextBox from one of its UserForms onto the toolbox but I still can't add other Custom ActiveX controls to the toolbox.

Just a shot in the dark but...are you using two monitors? My userform tool box seems to have decided it wants to be docked on my 2nd monitor (I keep my VBA IDE on my 1st monitor). Usually it's not a problem, but if my resolution gets changed, the toolbox looks like it's missing because it's been shifted off the screen (same thing happens with my find & replace dialog box).

Just re-read your post...I miss understood and thought your whole toolbox was missing, not the "more controls" part. Sorry, I'm no help at all..

Have you had a look here:

Others who have had the same problem seem to have narrowed it does to a proflie issue. Have you tried cerating a new profile on your machine and seeing if you have access to the additional contols?

Sorry for responding late sous and thanks for the information.

Creating the new profile did'nt work either. I may hace to reinstall office in the end and see if it solves the issue.
