I’m thinking of making a userform for my grass cutting business.

I’m not entirely sure how to approach it yet but something like select a customers name & the relevant info fields are then shown.

One thing I’m stuck with is some customers have repeat visits so maybe by clicking on a fields drop down arrow would then show a list of dates when I’ve visited them, or any other suggestions would be good.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Re: Userform question if I may ask please

Quickly looking at the supplied code where about is the part which shows the visits ?

I had in mind say select customer John Smith and I would see s list of visits I had made to him ?
Not seeing this laid out I can’t quite see how it works until tomorrow

Re: Userform question if I may ask please

You told me this:
My worksheet is like so.
Column B is customers name.
Column D is where advert was seen.
Column F is telephone number
Column H is post code
Column J is Area
Column L is Price paid
Column N is last cut
Column P is Miles
Column R is Address
Column T is Next Cut Due

I see nothing here about visits

Re: Userform question if I may ask please

I like helping you and I do see you have asked numerous questions in several other posting on this forum on the same subject matter.

Like show my visits is hard to do when I see nothing here about where the visits are.

If you did not write the code you showed and found it some place and you do not understand it I can see how trying to modify it may be very hard for you.

I hope you do not start another new posting and hope for better answers.

It's just that specific details are always needed.

Re: Userform question if I may ask please

That was a month ago.
This post has nothing to do with that but I don’t even see why it has been dragged up & mentioned

Re: Userform question if I may ask please

Post #18 has now been applied and works well.

Now i would like to see the multiple visits of say the same customer some how.
Say the customer is John Smith and i have been to him 01/03/2019 01/04/2019 01/05/219 etc etc.
What do i need to advise you & how will it then look etc on my form ?

Thanks

Re: Userform question if I may ask please

I thought I asked the question before but maybe you did not understand.

So where on your sheet will I find this information:
01/03/2019 01/04/2019

I assume it will be on the same Row with The customer name but starting in What column?
Will service dates start in column X or column Z or where?

Unless I just skipped over seeing it I have never seen where this starts.

It should start in the same column for each customer

So if we find The name George in column B then to find service dates we would start looking across that row starting in column X for the service dates.

But I need to know what column The service dates start in

Like all service dates start in column X

So the script would start looking in column X till the last column with data on that row.

Like where will I find 01/03/2019

Re: Userform question if I may ask please

Hi,

So in this example JEFF name is in B9 his dates that ive visited so far are in T9, U9, V9, W9 & then further visits will be entered into X9, Y9, Z9, AA9, AB9 etc etc
This then also applies to the next customer so there dates will be entered in T10, U10, V10, W10 ETC TEC
