is there is a way to open up a userform when a user clicks a certain text on a cell? for instance lets say there is a text 'Show me' on A1

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

You can use a worksheet change event. For example:

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Excel.Range)
    If Target.Address = "$A$1" And [a1] = "Show Me" Then
        userform1.Show
    End If
End Sub
