Hi guys,

I'm currently using MAX to return the highest value in a coloumn of about 500 entries. What I now need to do is to automatically bold the entire row of data once the highest number is found.

Any ideas

Cheers

Rob

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Assuming your data starts in A1 and goes down to E500, and you're checking for the max in column A:

Click on A1, and drag down to E500. Go to Conditional formatting and use:

Formula Is: =$A1=MAX($A:$A)

and then choose bold font. It will make the A:E bold on the row of the MAX value.
