using 2003 add-in in 2007

I have a 2003 add-in that I simply cannot load in 2007. Is this simply because 2003 add-ins will no longer work or what?

What do you mean by "cannot load"?

It simply does not appear on the list when you browse to the location it is in so you cant select it.

What's in the 'Files of type' dropdown? Maybe you need to change the selection.
