Using a cell reference name to define the end of a column

Hi again

How would I use the define name function to specify a range from E2 to the end of the column, without being explicit in the cell reference?
The reason I ask is for a spreadsheet which is updated from an access database. Therefore, it is growing and the end point of the spreadsheet is moving.

Thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Are there blank cells in column E?

If not, try defining MyRange =E2:OFFSET(E2,COUNTA(E:E)-1,0)

You can do this with the OFFSET function. This thread touches on it, but it's buried in details.

Here's a simple example of a range that includes everything from A1 down, as long as there's contiguous data:

=OFFSET(Sheet1!A1,0,0,COUNT(Sheet1!A:A),1)
