I am trying to use a macro on a grouped password protected worksheet. The macro is to Group and un group specific parts of the worksheet, unfortunately it will not work as it requires the worksheet to be unprotected. I do not want to unprotect the worksheet as this document will be for other people to use.

Can anybody help please.

Thanks

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
You can Protect and Unprotect your worksheet in the macro itself. Like this:

Code:
Sheets("Sheet1").Unprotect Password:="xyz"

'your entire macro code goes here

Sheets("Sheet1").Protect Password:="xyz"

Thanks for that. That works for the macro and password, but the macro was to group and ungroup specific parts of the worksheet. The macro worked but the grouping didn't.
