Hi, I'm new to VBA and am trying to access an ActiveX object from within a module. I receive an error "Object required". This code works perfectly when run from within the sheet portion of code. The activeX object has been placed on this sheet. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi shane,

When the ActiveX object is on a sheet and you want to refer to it from within a standard macro module--or any module other than the worksheet's event code module, you must quality it with the sheet object. For example:

Worksheets("Sheet1").CommandButton1.Caption = "Click Here"
