Using Add ins in macros

Hi,

We use an add in that links Excel to our accounting software. It's basically a big database, and you can write formulae in Excel which interrogate the database. Once you update the formulae, you need to refresh the numbers, which you do by using to toolbar along the top.

I want to write a macro which does a few mundane things, and then refreshes these links. I tried recording it, but when I do the refresh step, the macro doesn't record anything. Is there a way round this - even keystokes, which would be Alt-X, R.

Thanks in advance,

Anton

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Yep, answered my own question - I can use keystrokes. If anyone knows how to do it a different way though I'd be interested. Cheers.
