Hi team,

I've been researching this online for a while, but can't seem to solve the problem.

I have a formula which consolidates numbers in the same cell across multiple sheets.

I'm using =SUM('Consol Start (Values):Consol End (Values)'!G7) which works fine in the consolidation sheet,

However, I've decided I want to use the current cell and column in the consolidation sheet so it's more flexible when I insert new lines into the consolidation.

I wanted to use the function ADDRESS(ROW(),COLUMN()) but for the life of me can't get the syntax correct as a substitute. I want this to basically return G7 - which it does used by itself, but I'm not certain how to integrate it into the formula.

Can anyone help? I'd be very grateful.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Sorry I meant current "row and column" rather than cell and column.
