using an msoControlEdit in a custom CommandBar

I have a custom CommandBar with an msoControlEdit (basically another name for a TextBox). I would like to have all the text in the msoControlEdit automatically selected whenever I click in it but there doesn't seem to be as much control over this as a TextBox on a UserForm.
Is there a way to do this?
