Hello All,

I have recently purchased a Holy Macro book called "Office VBA - Macros you can use today".

I have been looking at the Combined Procedure section at a macro called "Using Calendar Control for Office Applications".

I would like to be able to use this within a Word document that has been set up as a 'Form' using form fields.

Looking at the 'Text Form Field options' settings what would I need to do to enable this calendar to pop-up when a specific field is selected.

I assume something would need to be added to the 'Run macro on Entry' box and possibly the 'Run macro on Exit'.

Is there anything within the code that would need to be added to enable this macro to run on a protected form ???

Any help ort comments would be appreciated.

Regards,
Dave T

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hello Denis,

Thanks for the reply.

The answer to having the calendar pop up when a field was selected was rather obvious in the end. I needed to add "ShowForm" to the 'Run macro on entry box' within the 'Text Form Field Options'.

There are two things I have yet to work out...
  1. How to get the selected calendar date to be returned into the selected form field. Macro works great when in a normal document but not within a protected form.
  2. When using the calendar on a normal document, how to change the returned date from the default of "d/mm/yyyy to some other format e.d. dd-MMM-yy or dddd, dd MMM yyyy
Thanks again for your help.
